Blackboard is an online classroom management system that is provided to all teachers and students in Macomb county by the Macomb Intermediate School District. Using Blackboard a teacher can easily communicate with students, give and collect assignments from students, and maintain grades that students can see 24 hours a day.

Moodle
Based on your agency (ISD/RESA/RESD), you may have Moodle as a course management system. This learning system provides a place for teachers to post materials (lessons, handouts, links), assignments, host discussions, and easily communicate in an online environment.
Edmodo
Free and secure, Edmodo is a social learning platform for teachers, students, schools and districts. It's easy to connect and collaborate, share content and access homework, grades and school notices. Use the calendar, post grades, or create a library of resources. You can even create badges for achievement. Check out the videos and supporting materials within Edmodo!
Google Classroom
Google Classrooms is part of the Google Apps for Education suite. Using Classroom requires that you have a login on your GAFE system. The Google Classroom allows you to create content, share with other teachers, and assess student work.

Office 365 - One Note and Classroom Notebook
Using Office 365 is an advantage to many schools because of their familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite. However, these added features - like One Note and Class Notebooks - make creating an online presence a piece of cake! Check out the videos and how to's at the Microsoft in Education site.
